Scott grew up on a farm in south central South Dakota.  After graduating with a degree in Agricultural Business from South Dakota State University, he accepted a position with Cargill in Lima, OH.  After being transferred to St. Anne, IL, Scott decided it was time to get closer to home and began his banking career with Community First National Bank in Platte, SD.  After nineteen years in the banking industry with Community First/Bank of the West and First Dakota National Bank, Scott moved into production agriculture before coming to work with Hurley.   Scott was hired on as a Farm Marketing Consultant with Hurley & Associates in February of 2021. Scott was impressed with Hurley’s approach to marketing through a tailored approach based on each customer’s situation and cash flow.  Scott’s background and understanding of production agriculture and finance will help him partner with clients to achieve economic stability.   Scott and his wife have three children.  Scott enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking and following the Minnesota Twins.
